Hotel Metropole, Brussels

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was beautifully designed with a chandelier and offered a view of the gorgeous plaza, but it was uncomfortably hot initially, and I had to request a room change. The electric heater seemed outdated for such a lovely room.

The hotel falls short of its 5-star billing due to multiple issues in the rooms such as marks on bedding, scuffed skirting boards, and a disappointing bed and mattress. However, the service is friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, offering a quiet setting close to various amenities in Brussels. The dining experience is enjoyable and extensive.
